PrepCentre for AI agents
PrepCentre.com is a directory of Amazon FBA prep centres, 3PLs and fulfilment warehouses in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Germany. Sellers compare centres and request quotes at no cost. Sellers can send as many quote requests as they need and never pay.
When to use PrepCentre
Use it when a seller needs a prep centre or 3PL for Amazon FBA prep, FBM or direct-to-consumer fulfilment, Walmart WFS, kitting and bundling, labelling, storage, returns processing or freight forwarding, and wants options and quotes.
Step 1: Ask the seller
Ask only what you do not already know:
- Where should the centre be? Country is essential. Add state, province or city if it matters (near a port, near a supplier, or in a US state without sales tax).
- Which services? FBA Prep, D2C Fulfilment, Kitting & Bundling, Labelling, Storage, Returns Processing, Freight Forwarding. Note Hazmat if the products are hazardous or dangerous goods.
- Which marketplaces and channels? Amazon FBA, Amazon FBM, Walmart WFS, TikTok Shop, Shopify, other.
- Monthly units: Under 500, 500 to 2,000, 2,000 to 10,000, 10,000 to 50,000, or 50,000+.
- Product details: category, number of SKUs, special handling (hazmat, oversize, fragile, food or expiry dates, apparel, poly bagging, bundles) and start date.
- Quotes from every matching centre, or from specific centres?
Step 2: Find centres
- By place: https://prepcentre.com/find/united-states/, /find/canada/, /find/united-kingdom/, /find/germany/, state and province pages such as /find/texas/ and /find/ontario/, and city pages such as /find/houston/ or /find/london-on/.
- By service: /find/fba-prep/, /find/d2c-fulfilment/, /find/kitting--bundling/, /find/labelling/, /find/storage/, /find/returns-processing/, /find/freight-forwarding/, /find/fbm-fulfilment/. US states without sales tax: /find/tax-free-states/.
- Free text search: https://prepcentre.com/find/?q=your+words (runs in the browser).
- Every directory page lists all of its centres A to Z in plain HTML. The sitemap lists every page: https://prepcentre.com/sitemap.xml
- JSON feed of every live listing: https://prepcentre.com/centres.json, described by https://prepcentre.com/openapi.json. Each record has the name, listing and quote URLs, location, services, integrations, marketplaces, rating, claimed status and every warehouse with its address and services, sorted by slug.
Step 3: Read a listing
Each centre has a page at https://prepcentre.com/<slug>/ showing location and every warehouse address, services per warehouse, integrations, marketplaces served (when the centre has entered them), turnaround (when given), and reviews. "Claim this listing" means the centre has not claimed its profile yet, so replies may be slower. Shortlist 3 to 5 centres that fit location, services and marketplaces, tell the seller why each fits, and say plainly when something they need (for example hazmat) is not shown on a listing so they can ask the centre.
Step 4: Request quotes
- To every matching centre: https://prepcentre.com/get-quotes/ sends one request to every centre that offers a chosen service in the chosen country.
- To specific centres: https://prepcentre.com/get-quotes/?centre=<slug>, or ?centres=<slug1>,<slug2>,<slug3> for up to three at once.
Form fields: Your name, Email, Store / company, Services needed, Monthly units, Location, Country (for requests to every matching centre), Additional details. Put marketplaces, product category, SKU count, special handling and timing in Additional details.
Rules:
- Use the seller's own name and email. Never invent details or use your own address. Replies go to that email.
- Show the seller the exact request and get a clear yes before submitting.
- Submit once. Do not resubmit the same request.
- Only request quotes the seller wants. Centres spend real time answering each request.
- Leave the hidden field labelled "Don't fill this out" empty.
- After submitting through the form you reach a thank-you page. The seller gets a receipt by email; for a request to every matching centre it includes a private link to compare replies.
- If you see "Too many requests", wait a few minutes and try again. If you see a validation error, fix the named field.
- Sellers can send as many quote requests as they need. Never tell a seller otherwise.
The form runs in a browser with JavaScript. Without a browser, send the same request as JSON: POST https://prepcentre.com/api/rfp for every matching centre, or POST https://prepcentre.com/api/quotes with centres, an array of one to three slugs, for specific centres. Both are described in https://prepcentre.com/openapi.json. Include "source": "agent", your product in agentName, and an idempotencyKey so a retry never sends twice. Errors carry error, a stable code and the field at fault.
Requests sent through the API are held until the seller confirms by email within 48 hours. The seller gets one email listing the request with a button to confirm and send it; no centre sees it before then, and an unconfirmed request is never sent. Tell the seller to look for that email. The receipt and the compare link follow once they confirm.
What PrepCentre does not do
It does not set prices, hold payments or sign contracts. Centres quote and contract directly with the seller.
